Position Description

This role is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems' hardware/software and related infrastructure. This role will analyze and identify all or part of the existing or new computer (and/or server), peripheral, and network systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs of the Sponsor.

Responsibilities Maintain the virtual environment and Cisco UCS blade infrastructure. Manage a windows domain environment. Implementation and support of Active Directory (AD) architecture to support role-based access and systems access controls. Implementation of security controls in a Microsoft Windows environment including Group Policy Objects (GPOs) Manage O365 (SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Teams) Install and maintain new and existing servers, building and deployment of systems images, and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Provide support per request from team members and system users. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures using root cause analysis practices. Coordinate and communicate with impacted organizations. Perform periodic KPI reporting to support capacity planning. Develop documentation to include systems architecture, maintenance and operations procedures. Manage hardware and software load balancing technologies. Familiar with scripting via PowerShell Follows ITIL framework / best practices. Implement solutions to optimize the infrastructure operations, and for conducting research and development to ensure continual innovation as needed. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and participate in patching and on call rotation. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. Familiarity with policies and standards regarding IT security Qualifications

Education/Certifications

Associate degree in computer science or management information systems required, Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred. Microsoft, VMware, Cisco UCS, ITIL/EXIN, CompTIA certifications preferred. Experience

At least 2 years of experience maintaining servers and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following: Enterprise licensing models and annual true-up reporting M Microsoft Technologies: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, MECM, IIS, SQL Clustering, Client Operating Systems Virtualization technologies: VMware Experience with IT Operations Process models Strong experience in hardware engineering, performance analysis, engineering, and data center operations including standup and maintenance. Experience with systems security analysis, controls design and implementation Understanding of networking technology fundamentals Understanding and demonstrated experience with Active Directory Domain Services; ADUC, ADSS, ADFS, DFS, GPOs, DHCP and DNS. Understands purpose, use and implement SSL and other encrypted technology. Experience in the 3PL; warehousing (WMS), transportation (TMS), Omni-channel, and fulfillment industry is preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to travel up to 10% to provide site support as needed. Knowledge of Enterprise Architectures Knowledge with Change Management processes Strong communications skills, both verbal and written Interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues. May resolve problems within established practices. Demonstrates strong problem solving / troubleshooting abilities. Demonstrates ability to create scripts to solve business needs and challenges. #LI-LB1
