Description We are excited to invite a motivated and detail-oriented Security Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This crucial role focuses on safeguarding classified information and ensuring compliance with security protocols and federal regulations. As a Security Operations Analyst, you will help enforce security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), collaborate with government site security personnel, and manage sensitive and classified materials effectively. Primary Responsibilities: Enforce established security SOPs among the security team. Collaborate with government security contacts regarding classified information. Safeguard and oversee classified equipment and information managed by the organization. Maintain deep knowledge of NRO security policies and oversight requirements. Supervise the classification, access, handling, storage, and destruction of sensitive materials. Develop and implement classification management programs that comply with federal laws and regulations. Assist in internal and external audits and inspections related to information security. Basic Qualifications: TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is mandatory. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2-4 years of relevant experience in a security-oriented role. Familiarity with industrial security practices in safeguarding facilities and sensitive information. Basic understanding of classification management and federal security regulations. Experience with personnel security processes, including clearance verification and reinvestigations. Effective communication skills with internal stakeholders and government security contacts. Ability to work independently and exercise discretion in various tasks. Preferred Qualifications: Active or previous U.S. government security clearance (TS/SCI preferred). Knowledge of federal security directives (e.g., ICDs, NISPOM, DoD Manuals). Experience with managing special access programs (SAP) and restricted access environments. Familiarity with foreign visitor protocols and facility access control. Experience in threat mitigation or asset protection planning at the organizational level. Proven ability to brief and debrief personnel on security responsibilities and procedures. Proficient in security clearance management systems (e.g., DISS, eQIP, SWFT).
