Product Manager - Testing Equipment & Consumables
$115,000-$150,000 + 10% bonus
About the Company A leading manufacturer of material testing equipment and consumables for lab and manufacturing applications.
Role Summary The Product Manager will drive profitable growth of a physical product portfolio. Responsibilities include leading market strategy, product lifecycle management, new product development, and collaboration with Marketing and Global Sales Teams.
Key Responsibilities
Use enterprise principles to optimize portfolio profitability.
Identify customer needs via research/data and turn into product strategies.
Monitor sales trends; build dashboards and reports.
Develop and implement annual growth plans.
Position value propositions for key segments.
Lead marketing initiatives and partner with commercial teams.
Create sales tools and campaigns.
Generate leads.
Build and manage innovation pipelines.
Prioritize new product opportunities using market and customer insights.
Participate in Stage Gate process (strategic fit, competitive analysis, VOC, launch plans).
Support Engineering with feedback on existing products.
Set and adjust global pricing strategies to optimize margins.
Deliver product-specific training to Sales teams. Qualifications
BS in Engineering or Science (MBA is a plus).
3-5 years' experience managing physical/tangible products.
Able to manage a technical product portfolio; experience with industrial/scientific/instrumentation equipment is a plus.
Skilled in market segmentation, value proposition development, and financial business cases.
Proven track record in product line strategy and simplification.
Strong in cross-functional collaboration and project leadership.
Experience working with multinational teams is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
