Senior Software Engineer - AI for Freight (On-site in SF)
San Francisco | Full-time | $150K-$230K + 0.2-1% equity | Visa transfers available (H1B, TN)
We're partnering with a well-funded, early-stage startup using AI to automate one of the most outdated industries in America:
freight brokerage . Instead of replacing a UI, they're replacing entire workflows - building omni-channel AI agents that handle the phone calls, emails, and texts it normally takes to book a single truckload.
Their product is already used by major players, and they're scaling fast.
They're hiring
10+ senior software engineers
to join the core team in
San Francisco . You'll work closely with the CTO and founding team to ship new features, improve infrastructure, and talk directly to users. You'll also help shape culture and set the tone for future engineers.
What You'll Do • Build and deploy new features across the full stack (Node.js / TypeScript / AWS) • Interact directly with customers and iterate fast based on feedback • Own large pieces of product and infrastructure • Help scale the AI agent powering the backend of U.S. logistics • Work in-person with the team 5-6 days/week
• What They're Looking For
Must-haves: • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
(exceptions made for exceptional founders, dropouts, or indie builders) • Strong full-stack experience, especially in
Node.js + TypeScript • Comfortable with cloud deployment, CI/CD, REST APIs, and AWS • Strong communication skills - you'll be talking to clients • Already in SF or willing to relocate quickly
Bonus points for: • Experience in freight tech, logistics, or transportation • Background in early-stage startups or intense work environments • High-agency mindset - self-starters and builders who ship fast

Compensation:
$150K-$230K base + 0.2-1% equity •
Visa sponsorship:
TN & H1B transfers available (OPT is fine) •
Office:
On-site in San Francisco, near Caltrain (6 days/week, typically 9am-9pm)
