Senior DDI Engineer - Remote (6-Month Contract)
Join our dynamic Network Reliability Engineering (NRE) team to design and implement cutting-edge DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions. Collaborate with expert network architects to enhance global network reliability and scalability. This role focuses on upgrading infrastructure and delivering efficient DDI solutions.
Core Work Activities: Develop and automate global distributed infrastructure solutions. Lead design and tool development to improve network reliability and scalability. Conduct network analysis and configuration management for performance improvement. Manage project schedules, risks, and costs effectively. Define and implement recovery strategies for network infrastructure. Perform troubleshooting and coordinate with teams to restore services. Maintaining Goals:
Submit timely reports and document project progress accurately. Provide technical expertise and support within and outside the department. Understand and meet the needs of key stakeholders. Communicate concepts clearly and generate accurate reports and presentations. Candidate Profile:
Required Education and Experience:
Undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent. 8 years' experience in IT, with 7 years in DDI solutions for critical networks. Experience with DDI appliance technologies and SaaS-based solutions. Proficiency in DNS security policies and IP address management. Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Preferred:
Advanced degree in a technical discipline or MBA with technology focus. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus. Proven track record of driving network technology transformation. Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
