Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering, will provide leadership and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Cybersecurity baselines and configurations across the GIA enterprise. This role will lead assigned projects and provide technical support and administration of Enterprise-class network, cyber security baseline, and telecommunication services. The Manager, Cyber Security Engineering will ensure documentation and processes are in place to support and deliver networking services.

Develop recommendations concerning infrastructure management to assess near- and long-term cyber security capacity needs and justify resource requirements (people and/or technology) to support it. Lead technical planning, verification, evaluation, and analysis of critical program information, cost, and risk. Provide direct leadership & mentorship to the Cyber Security Team, executing on tactical milestones, ensuring success for both portfolio mergers & acquisitions along with technical migrations for the enterprise. Participate in planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas (e.g. Cloud Computing, DevSecOps, threat intel/hunting, EDR, etc). Support capture efforts and future capabilities to stay ahead of emerging threats. Engaging with customers and auditors to address technical concerns and resolve issues. Develop and coordinate test strategies, plans, procedures, and reports across programs to ensure thorough validation and success. Monitor ITSM tickets and ensure timely response and resolutions within SLAs Work in partnership with the Networking and IT Infrastructure teams to address risks and maintain secure configurations. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly audits of cybersecurity baselines as required. Develop & maintain hardening standards for all operating systems employed by the enterprise Work closely with management and team to gather input, diagnose root causes, and resolve problems Document processes to standardize end user experience. Proactively communicate with management throughout the problem resolution process. Interface with leadership, engineers, and vendor technical support resources. Assist in developing & maintaining a disaster recovery plan, assist in testing plan and update documentation as needed Recommend and justify any upgrades to infrastructure and systems Build, implement and document new locations according to industry best practices and established compliance policies. Participate in on-going certification and training opportunities. Conduct Training of junior team members & subordinates Leads and participates in collaboration with other teams to implement projects throughout the organization. Continuous growth and exploration of new technologies to enhance control compliance and security capabilities. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications Education: • Diploma from college or vocational school; or equivalence of education and work experience • Desired Certifications (One or more of the following): o CISSP o CISM o CCSP o Security+ o GSLC Experience: Ten (10) + years providing advanced networking hardware and software technical support. Additional Qualifications: • Excellent people skills • Experience supporting networking, security, virtualization, systems administration, storage software and hardware products • Experience supporting or troubleshooting in an IT environment (sever, application, or infrastructure). • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) • Experience using an implementing industry standard EDR/MSSP platforms (e.g. CrowdStrike/Falcon Complete, Sentinal One, Trellix, Cloudflare, Mimecast) • Proven ability to diagnose, resolve, and document technical support issues. • Strong written and verbal communications skills. • Positive, customer-centric approach. • Working experience in systems administration, cyber security and/or internal IT support. • Ability to travel to office locations (10%). • Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance; own transportation.
