Senior Data Scientist III - Manufacturing & Test Analytics We are seeking a

Senior Data Scientist III

to join a production operations analytics team focused on identifying performance bottlenecks, streamlining test data pipelines, and delivering statistical insights that drive manufacturing yield improvements. This role will be deeply embedded in hardware manufacturing operations and will collaborate closely with engineering and technical program teams to support continuous improvement efforts through actionable data analysis. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, data visualization, and scripting. You will analyze test telemetry and time-series data, develop dashboards and alerts, and deliver solutions that accelerate test triage and improve production quality. Note : Due to export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals lawfully admitted as refugees or granted asylum.

Key Responsibilities Build statistical models using test and telemetry data to identify patterns, trends, and performance bottlenecks. Partner with engineering teams to translate production system data into actionable insights and yield improvement strategies. Automate test data collection, formatting, and reporting through scripting and reusable frameworks. Develop visualizations and dashboards to assist in test triage and root cause analysis. Establish continuous monitoring and alerting frameworks to inform engineering teams of key failures and anomalies. Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and continuous improvement teams to define statistical process controls for critical systems. Top Required Skills Data Science & Analytics (5+ years)

- Strong background in data science, data engineering, or ML engineering within a manufacturing or test systems environment. Scripting (4+ years)

- Expertise in Python or similar scripting languages to automate data ingestion, modeling, and reporting tasks. Statistical Modeling

- Proficient in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab, with applied experience developing predictive models and insights from large datasets.

Skills & Experience Required

7+ years of overall analytics experience, including roles in data science, ML engineering, or data analysis. 4+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and scripting languages (Python preferred). Familiarity with statistical tools and methodologies for predictive modeling and performance tracking. Strong development background with BI reporting platforms (OBIEE highly preferred). Proven ability to work closely with engineers, TPMs, and leadership to interpret production data and implement insights. Ability to synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science, or engineering. Experience working in aerospace, electronics manufacturing, or test systems engineering. Familiarity with test process development, telemetry data analysis, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
