We are looking for a highly qualified, proactive, adaptable, and motivated Sr Cost Estimator with 10 years of experience overseeing multiple complex projects in the electric utility industry, with a proven record of working independently with minimal supervision. Critical Tasks and Responsibilities

Lead or oversee the development and maintenance of detailed cost estimates for major and/or multi-year projects, including scope take-off, estimating labor, materials, contracts, indirect costs, and allowances. Maintain and reconcile various versions of cost estimates. Review processes to ensure cost estimates are accurate and structured to meet project or program requirements (e.g., work breakdown structure, property records, jurisdictional splits, and cost elements). Provide consultation or expert advice on complex matters, best practices, and data analysis in cost estimating (e.g., unit pricing, market trends, economic feasibility). Perform complex analytics and prepare presentations of results, alternatives, and recommendations to support decision-making, manage project costs and schedules, and mitigate risks. Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather data and maintain strong working relationships. Lead assignments or teams for the duration of projects. Prepare project control data requests and work papers for governance, audits, rate cases, and regulatory filings. Provide training to develop future project controls professionals. Education

A combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a 4-year college degree. 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and capital projects/construction. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project controls and cost estimating software. Preferred: Engineering or mathematical background. Skills
