Directive . At Directive, were looking for talented professionals who excel at crafting strategies to elevate search visibility, developing compelling content, and delivering value to audiences. Note: This role is internally titled Content Marketing Strategist. The position involves managing client deliverables, creating custom strategies, and communicating with clients and internal teams. The role primarily handles Enterprise clients, requiring a deep understanding of content strategy and technical SEO, including site audits, structured data, and Core Web Vitals. Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement custom marketing strategies aligned with client goals and best practices. Optimize strategies based on project phases, performance data, and ongoing campaigns. Collaborate with leadership to address challenges and ensure strategic alignment. Create creative briefs and develop content campaigns based on insights. Apply frameworks like LTV modeling and share of SERP. Goal Setting
Establish measurable goals using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. Work with leadership to review and finalize goals for clients. Project Management
Oversee strategy execution, task delegation, and progress tracking using Asana. Coordinate with content creators and designers to deliver campaigns. Communication
Serve as the main client contact, building trust and managing expectations. Maintain regular communication through Slack and meetings. Inform leadership about account updates and opportunities. Reporting and Insights
Provide regular updates, including bi-weekly meetings, monthly/quarterly reports, and bi-annual reviews. Foundational SEO Skills
Conduct SEO audits, identify issues, and recommend improvements. Execute on-page and off-page optimization strategies. Develop link-building campaigns to increase domain authority. Tools
Must-have: Screaming Frog, SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console, Excel. Nice-to-have: Ahrefs, STAT, BrightEdge. Benefits and Work Environment
