Swoon is actively seeking a Principal Middleware Engineer with a specialization in Kafka to join the team!
What your day-to-day look like?
Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable middleware solutions on scalable Kafka clusters Monitor Kafka performance Develop and maintain IAC using Ansible and Terraform; create and maintain IAC modules Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure on AWS cloud Automate infrastructure, provisioning, deployments, and operations enabling our organization to rapidly deliver and scale applications
What's Required?
Subject matter experience in Kafka - 8+ years of experience IaC experience - 8+ years of experience 5+ years of experience in Terraform and/or Ansible 5+ years of experience in AWS or Azure cloud - AWS preferred Containerization experience highly preferred using Kubernetes or Docker
