Interim Clinical Director
Are you a licensed mental health professional with a passion for youth-centered care and team leadership? Join the Greater Sacramento Urban League (GSUL) as our Interim Clinical Director and lead a committed multidisciplinary team serving youth ages 1225 at our allcove center. This is a full-time temporary position lasting approximately 2 to 3 months, ideal for an experienced clinical leader ready to make an immediate impact. The Interim Clinical Director will oversee clinical operations, ensure quality of care, and support a collaborative team delivering integrated mental health, substance use, and wellness services to youth in a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment. Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of clinical operations and service delivery.
Supervise licensed clinicians, associates, interns, and support staff in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
Ensure consistent delivery of trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and culturally responsive care.
Maintain clinical protocols and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and funding requirements.
Oversee clinical documentation, treatment planning, and coordination of care.
Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews, internal audits, and quality improvement activities.
Collaborate with the Youth Advisory Group and leadership team to guide service design and implementation.
Represent GSUL and the allcove center in community and partner meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
Active California licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist in good standing.
Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience working with adolescents and transitional-age youth, preferably in community-based or school-linked settings.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, clinical documentation, and compliance standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and support professional development.
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish or another threshold language.
Familiarity with Medi-Cal documentation and billing requirements.
Experience with allcove or similar youth mental health models is a plus.
