Data Center Project Manager
Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to work a long-term contract for one of our technology clients. This person will manage the engineering scope, schedule, and budget for greenfield, brownfield and retrofit engineering/design projects. This position will manage internal and external resources for the delivery of the datacenter power infrastructure to align with the datacenter capacity roadmap. Roles and Responsibilities - The Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for the facilitation and delivery of industry-leading datacenter power infrastructure including the development of new technology and advanced concepts from pre-programming through design development, construction, and the turnover to Operations. This role will provide infrastructure coordination, management, and overall leadership for our datacenter power infrastructure. To be successful in this role the candidate will oversee the delivery of multiple, concurrent, complete distribution, substation, and transmission projects supporting datacenter solutions aligned with the scopes, schedules, and budgets of the projects. The Project Manager will engage with key stakeholder groups within the organization as well as outside vendors who specialize in datacenter architecture and engineering. Skills and Qualifications - Successful candidates will manage multiple utility provider teams of engineers and designers to deliver multiple projects aligned with the defined scope, schedule, and budget. The candidate must have excellent project management, communication, organization, and leadership skills. Candidates must possess a high level of proficiency in transmission and substation design and construction. The candidates must also be able to work with other technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment and do so with an even temperament. The candidate must be a person of integrity, be methodical, detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. Pay Range is from 40-55/hr.
