Column Technical Services is actively seeking a
Web Analyst
to join the Marketing & Communications (M&C) team at one of the most reputable organizations in Manhattan. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with digital strategists, channel leads, and technology teams to elevate the online experience-strengthening connections between prospective patients and the exceptional care our customer provides. This is an exciting opportunity to take a proactive, leadership-oriented approach, driving marketing innovation through data and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing Measurement, Analytics, and Insights, you will:
- Act as a strategic collaborator across Analytics, Digital Experience, and Product teams-executing data analyses, generating reports, uncovering trends, and recommending data-informed enhancements
- Track and evaluate critical website performance metrics such as visitor traffic, user demographics, and conversion behavior
- Provide actionable content intelligence to improve the clarity, effectiveness, and impact of written materials
- Respond to dynamic, ad hoc reporting and insight needs from departments across Marketing & Communications
- Support the integrity and accuracy of web analytics systems by reinforcing consistent taxonomy and robust tracking standards throughout M&C
- Advocate for a blended analytics approach-offering both service-based support and enabling self-service capabilities-while guiding stakeholders through collaborative data initiatives
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Minimum of three years in a marketing analytics role, with hands-on experience driving data-informed strategies Proficiency in web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Heap, or comparable tools Solid understanding of the mechanics behind Web Analytics and related technologies Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights Proven ability to engage stakeholders and influence decision-making through compelling presentations and collaborative dialogue A proactive, innovation-driven mindset focused on refining workflows and enhancing output Working knowledge of Paid, Earned, and Owned media channels and how they contribute to overall marketing efforts Familiarity with relational database fundamentals-including granularity, primary/foreign keys, joins, and data transformations Basic understanding of web infrastructure and tagging practices, including the use of Google Tag Manager
