Our specialties at Puffer-Sweiven include: Pressure Management Isolation Valves & Actuation Control Valves & Regulators Process Control & Safety Systems Oil & Gas Automation- fiscal custody metering, controls, and SCADA Reliability Solutions & Services Specialty Pumps & Rotating Equipment Instrumentation Maintenance & Repair ServicesDuties and Responsibilities: Selecting and sizing of pumps, gearboxes, motors, instrumentation, and flow control equipment per customer's application requirementsHave technical and commercial discussions often via email, Microsoft Teams, by phone, and face to face with CustomersEfficiently and accurately respond to requests for price quotationsReview purchase orders for accuracy, prior to PO Acknowledgement, and enter order information into OracleUtilize Salesforce CRM to manage your sales pipelineImplement strategic and tactical sales plans in support of Team goalsEngage with the Rotating Equipment Operations Team to assist in cost estimates for skid packagesEngage with the Rotating Equipment Operations Team in hand-off of Scope related to PO during Internal and, sometimes, External Kick Off MeetingsAssist the Inside Sales Manager with Process Improvements that improve Quote turnaround, accuracy and margin performanceQUALIFICATIONS:Education/Knowledge:Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or combination of experience in selecting positive displacement and centrifugal pumps using pump software and industry practices.Good working knowledge of pumps, compression and vacuum equipment, heat exchangers, mixers and related rotating and process equipment and accessories.Experience/Skills:Experience in an industrial sales environment to include direct customer/client interface. Experience quoting solution/skid packages preferred.Experience with MS Office including MS Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.COMPETENCIES: Strong written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate with a cross section of other employees, sales teams and business units, principals, and customers.Strong customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and other employees.Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.Solid selling skills. Through the consultative selling process, give customers a high level of confidence in our offering.Good information management skills, including the ability to manipulate and interpret spreadsheets and databases.A demonstrated ability to organized with the ability to use time management and organizational software.Approaches position with understanding of "doing it right" for the customer and the Company.
