Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Responsibilities for Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON): Ensure clinical processes and systems are followed according to policies, company standards, and accreditation requirements. Utilize all functions of ADP eTime and Scheduler independently, train staff, and collaborate to create staffing schedules. Monitor compliance with policies and procedures, taking corrective actions as needed, ensuring adherence to ACA, NCCHC, and company standards. Coordinate and oversee the delivery of nursing services, including leadership and evaluation of clinical staff. Respond to medical emergencies, including performing CPR until relieved. Conduct daily rounds to review documentation, orders, and patient care plans, ensuring staff compliance. Assist with triage, minor procedures, and patient assessments. Participate in disaster planning and emergency drills, enforcing safety policies. Collaborate with the HSA and Medical Director to deliver quality healthcare as per contractual requirements. Support staff development in nursing diagnoses and problem-solving skills. Attend and participate in required meetings for contract compliance. Qualifications for Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON): Valid
RN
