The IT Specialist reports to the IT Manager, providing customer-focused services supporting operations, including end-user support, IT device setup, configuration, network configuration, and troubleshooting. What You Will Do
Set up job sites, install Starlink, and configure LAN/WAN networking for mobilization. Assist in managing regional office IT needs, including peripherals and conference room AV connectivity. Prepare and deliver new user equipment onboarding. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Answer user queries, provide technical guidance, and assist with basic computer operations. Provide remote support via phone, email, or tools like TeamViewer. Train personnel on in-house systems as needed. Support printers, Android, iOS, and other peripherals. Coordinate printer fleet services and warranty repairs with vendors. Maintain compliance with company policies while delivering consistent services. Track activities in incident management systems like ServiceNow or Fresh Service. Follow company procedures, processes, and guidelines. Manage inventory of hardware, software, and mobile devices. Maintain documentation of sites, equipment, software, processes, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Who You Are: A Profile of Success
At least five years in IT support roles; certifications like A+, N+, MCP, MCSA, ITIL are preferred but not required. Strong support skills in hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft Office 365; basic networking knowledge. Excellent work ethic, punctuality, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and visualize solutions. Customer-focused with strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly. Organized, with good time management and teamwork skills.
