Systems Administrator (SysAdmin)

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of security experts, the Systems Administrator (SysAdmin) will configure and maintain critical information systems throughout the system life cycle in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Special Access Program (SAP), and Intelligence Community Directives. The SysAdmin will manage critical information technology infrastructure in support of National Security Space Launch 3 (NSSL-3), NRO, and other government contracts within Blue Origin's Government Security portfolio. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities: Secure environment account management Storage management Local authentication support File server administration User privileges Group policy Software testing Restoration operations Contingency planning Backups Installing, configuring, deploying, patching, and removing computer and server hardware, software, and peripherals Troubleshooting computers, servers, virtual machines, and other devices Apply computing diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate and determine root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions Maintain automated system for change control and patch management Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software Document general processes and maintain detailed documentation Manage and configure Microsoft Exchange Server, network switches, and virtual machines and environments Provide support outside of regular business hours (weekends, holidays, etc.) as required Be available after hours via phone as required
