Position Summary:

EVgo is seeking a highly motivated Revenue Accounting Manager to join our team to support our dynamic and growing business environment. The Accounting Manager will use their education and experience to determine appropriate treatment for US GAAP revenue recognition under ASC 606 and ASC 842 and establish revenue recognition policies. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that require cross-functional collaboration. This position will lead and manage the revenue/accounts receivable accounting team in day-to-day revenue recognition accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities: Ensure transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed, and supported in accordance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and internal controls Manage full end-to-end monthly financial close process for revenue and accounts receivable including management of collection of aged receivables and grants receivable Perform reviews throughout the revenue accounting process to ensure final outputs are in line with internal and external accounting and reporting requirements Partner with SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting team to ensure revenues for all segments are accurately and completely recorded in accordance with ASC 606 and ASC 842 and invoiced in a timely manner Reconcile revenue reports and operating platform activity to ensure completeness and accuracy Reconcile and/or review general ledger accounts, roll-forward schedules; investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner. Ensure timely data analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts Contribute to the monthly close process inclusive of accruals, journal entry postings, etc. Identify operating platform and reporting discrepancies and ally with cross-functional teams on appropriate resolutions Collaborate with Tax team to determine appropriate tax treatment of all new products and ensure customer accounts are configured accurately Support ongoing implementation and testing efforts related to new financial systems Review and/or prepare quarterly and year-end audit schedules as requested by external auditors. Provide any audit support required Provide management oversight of the on-shore and off-shore revenue and accounts receivable team members Maintain documentation for key revenue and accounts receivable processes and evaluate current processes for improvement Ensure compliance with the Company's internal controls over financial reporting Ad hoc reporting and special projects as required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required Certification of Public Accountancy (CPA) designation and public accounting experience highly preferred 6+ years of progressive accounting experience required, preferably in a progressive, high growth, and results-oriented environment, with a mix of public and corporate experience highly desired Desired Skills:

2+ years experience with supervising other team member with a desire to train and mentor others Excellent technical working knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842 Knowledge of SOX and requirements to be compliant Strong project management skills and collaborative partner management Strong attention to detail and accuracy; highly resourceful and displaying a "roll-up your sleeves" positive attitude Expert level Excel proficiency Strong analytical skills and critical thinking Deadline oriented and excellent time management skills to keep up with a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization and with external customers Experience with Oracle NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus

For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $105,000 USD to $155,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
