Job Title: Software Engineer Location-Type: Hybrid 2-3 days onsite Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: Contract 6 months Compensation Range: $55.00-$57.00/hr W2
Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
Predominately working on development
Creating FTP scripts, making updates to existing integration layers
Daily scrum stand up - working on priorities
Being knee deep with development / design / problem solving
Work on Dev team of around 8
You will mentor 2-3 developers
Must haves
Willing to learn Reconet - if you have this it will set you apart
Even homegrown reconciliation package is okay
Development with c#, bash scripting, shell bash and .net
Able to connect to different data sources, Azure, 3rd party systems through API integration
Finance/AccountingBackground in ReconciliationsCredit/Debits/ Store Accounting
Understand Banking CompliancePCI Compliance knowledge
Azure/ C Sharp Knowledge
Ability to Effectively Communicate with Stakeholders
Willingness and Openness to Learning
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Nice to Have
Experience with Power BI, Power Builder, or AI-related technologies (e.g., Open AI, RAG).
