Data Engineer/FP&A Specialist

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a mid-sized services firm in the Haymarket/Gainesville, VA area that is searching for a

FP&A Data Analyst

to support data analytics and an upcoming ERP migration effort.

Candidate will need to be on site 5 days per week and have a strong data background, ideally from an FP&A perspective with data analytics and visualization perspective.

This will be a contract/consulting opportunity with the ability to go permanent for the right candidate!

Candidate will be responsible for:

•Planning and execution of data migration strategies for ERP systems.

•Analyze data structures to identify data quality issues.

•Develop and implement ETL processes using appropriate tools and scripting languages.

•Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts and development team to understand requirements and ensure successful outcomes.

•Performing data validation, data cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.

•Monitor and troubleshoot migration processes to resolve potential issues.

•Document migration procedures, mappings, and configurations.

•Establish data integrity standards to ensure consistent format and structure.

Candidate should have the following background:

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar background.

•Proven experience in data migration, data integration, or database administration.

•Experience with ERP or CRM data migrations, ideally with Acumatica.

•Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools

•Familiarity with cloud platforms and data migration tools.

•Experience in a financial planning role a plus.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
