Liberty Classical Schools seeks a full-time Education Data Analyst to work on-site in its Atlanta, GA office. The Education Data Analyst will be the primary data expert for our classical education system, overseeing data collection and delivering insights through dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses to support compliance and decision-making. This role centers on collecting data from schools, cleaning and organizing it, building Power BI dashboards, and responding to ad-hoc reporting needs. This is not a purely technical or entry-level role-we're seeking someone who can confidently handle real-world education data, manage recurring reporting, and create data tools that support leadership and compliance. This position requires an
in-person presence
in our Atlanta, GA office and is

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Data Collection: Coordinate with schools to gather accurate data for board reports and authorizer submissions (e.g., enrollment, assessment). Data Cleaning & Aggregation: Use Python or SQL to process raw data (mostly CSVs) into analysis-ready formats. Power BI Development & Management:
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for KPIs, trends, and longitudinal reporting. Manage datasets, dataflows, scheduled refreshes, and workspace permissions. Ensure dashboards are accurate, accessible, and well-organized.
Ad-hoc Reporting: Respond to quick-turnaround data needs by analyzing CSVs, creating pivot tables, or generating visual summaries. Excel Reporting: Update and produce polished spreadsheets and reports for meetings or compliance use. Workflow Automation: Improve repeatable processes using Python scripting or scheduled Power BI refreshes. Process Standardization: Maintain clear naming conventions, templates, and documentation to support reusability and scalability. Data Organization: Manage file storage and access in cloud tools like Google Cloud Storage and BigQuery. Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field required. Must be currently living or willing to locate to Georgia and able to work on-site at our Atlanta location. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence. Power BI expertise: you've built dashboards and managed datasets, dataflows, workspace permissions, and refresh schedules. Strong Python skills for scripting and CSV processing. Proficiency in SQL for querying structured data. Excel fluency, including pivot tables, charts, and professional formatting. Familiarity with cloud tools like Google BigQuery or Google Cloud Storage. Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing recurring and ad-hoc data tasks. Bonus: Experience with K-12 student information systems (e.g., Infinite Campus) or education data.
