Lead Technical Product Specialist, Continental Tire The Americas, LLC, Fort Mill, SC: Act as product manager for electronic components and software products relating to Continental tires. Apply knowledge of tire wear, maintenance, and wear prevention to define product strategy for the Americas Region. Ensure the strategic roadmap is consistent with medium- and long-term vision from Americas and obtain tailored support for market entry activities in these markets. Ensure customer focus through initiating and managing joint Proofs of Concept, field testing and surveys. Support internal and external customers through technical writing including training materials, marketing communications, presentations, and FAQs. Calculate business cases for solutions/products in collaboration with marketing and sales teams from different business units. Define and manage customer-centric solution, products, and features, and align priorities with Central PM and business units. Monitor and review business performance of product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. Monitor and share competitor activities across the tire industry. Telecommuting permitted up to 40%. Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any Business, Technology, or Engineering field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate, related work experience in the tire industry. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Serving as product manager, product owner or business developer in digital products or digital services; Working on a global or multinational team; Managing multiple projects in parallel; and Providing estimated profitability calculations for business cases. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Project management as project leader of IT systems implementation and rollout; and Agile Methodologies for Software development (including describing pain points, creating features, participating in Scrum teams, and participating in business acceptance testing). Must have 2 years of experience in Confluence and Jira platforms. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
