OverviewMedical Director of Inpatient PsychiatryDartmouth-Hitchcock - Lebanon, NHThe Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking an Academic Inpatient Psychiatrist to join its faculty at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center located in beautiful northern New England. This role is a leadership position as a medical director of a 24 bed adult psychiatry unit. Clinically, you will lead one of 3 interdisciplinary teams caring for 8-12 voluntary and involuntary patients. You will supervise psychiatry residents and medical students on a daily basis as a major component of this role.The ideal candidate will be a skilled administrator, clinician and enthusiastic teacher. Experience working in an inpatient psychiatry setting as an attending is preferred. Candidates should be board certified in Psychiatry.
