Osmo is seeking a Senior IT Generalist
to lead onsite IT operations at our Elizabeth, NJ headquarters. You will be the primary point of contact for technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of site systems, employee hardware, and company-wide software. This role is critical supporting Osmo employees, leading IT compliance, designing backup infrastructure, and resolving a wide range of system-related issues.
Key Responsibilities Support IT Infrastructure:
Help maintain IT infrastructure across lab, factory, and office environments, assisting with uptime, performance, and security for both onsite and remote employees. Help Desk Support : Deliver in-person IT HelpDesk support to employees, contractors, and vendors. Monitor Systems & Enforce Best Practices:
Assist with monitoring company systems, supporting risk assessments, and enforcing IT best practices. Support Compliant Environments:
Experience working in a compliant environment (e.g., ISO 2700x, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA). Collaborate on Data Processing:
Work with teams across Osmo to ensure data processing activities align with regulatory standards. Assist with System Integration:
Provide support for the integration of IT systems into lab and factory environments, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency. Manage and Troubleshoot Company Devices:
Assist with managing company devices to enforce endpoint security and ensure operational consistency. Troubleshoot company-provided hardware (macOS, Windows, iOS, and peripherals). Mitigate Compliance Risks:
Help identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks, supporting the implementation of solutions to reduce exposure and improve controls. Third-Party Support:
Onboard and support third-party vendors and contractors. Required Qualifications
3+ years of IT experience
working in startup environments, with some exposure to regulatory requirements or standards. Experience supporting IT infrastructure
and basic system integration in diverse environments. Familiarity with MDM solutions , basic scripting, and cloud platforms. Strong understanding of privacy concepts
and data protection principles. Relevant certifications
such as CompTIA C+. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience supporting machine learning infrastructure or data platforms. Experience in multi-location IT support. Certifications such as Network+, Security+, Cisco Certifications. Experiencing supporting robotics on a manufacturing floor.
