Osmo is headquartered in New York, NY, with a new facility in New Jersey, and offices in Somerville, MA.Osmo is seeking a Production Planner who will be a pivotal link between our commercial and manufacturing execution. The individual will be responsible for developing forecasts to drive strategic inventory decisions and for creating detailed production schedules to optimize manufacturing resources. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling: Create and manage a detailed production schedule for manufacturing operations, including compounding, filling, and packaging lines, to meet the consensus demand plan.Capacity Optimization: Optimize production capacity by considering equipment availability, raw material lead times, and labor resources to ensure on-time delivery of fragrance bulk products and fragrance bottled products.Materials Planning (MRP): Work with procurement to generate and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for raw materials and components, ensuring adequate inventory to support the production schedule without excessive stock.Inventory Management: Monitor and manage finished goods inventory levels, working to minimize excess and obsolete stock while maintaining service level targets.Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks, material shortages, and other issues that could impact the production schedule.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Production Planning, Demand Planning, or a similar Supply Chain role, preferably within a fragrance, flavors, CPG, cosmetics, or manufacturing environment.Experience in ERP/MRP systems and standard Google/Microsoft Office Applications (especially spreadsheets).Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and more.If this role inspires you we'd encourage you to apply.
