Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist with experience in benefits administration, leaves of absence, union relations, employee onboarding, and more. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing various HR functions to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace.
Major Responsibilities: • Administer employee benefits programs and respond to inquiries. • Leaves of absence administration and tracking. • Experience with union relations and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements. • Oversee employee onboarding processes, including orientation and I-9 compliance. • Review time sheets to ensure accurate payroll processing. • Work with managers on employee performance reviews. • Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. • Assist with various HR administrative tasks as needed. • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Required Qualifications: • Proven experience in benefits administration and HR functions. • Strong understanding of employee relations and union dynamics. • Experience with employee onboarding and performance evaluation processes. • Familiarity with DOT compliance requirements. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work in the Bridgeville office 5 days per week (Mon-Fri).
