Career Start is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator in Syracuse, NY. To be considered for this position, preferred candidates will have prior payroll and benefits experience.

The HR Coordinator will assist in the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR support and ensuring smooth HR operations.

Shift : Monday through Friday 10 am to 630 pm

Pay of Human Resources Coordinator: $26 to $30/hr based on experience Responsibilities of Human Resources Coordinator:

Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and necessary training. Manage HR databases and systems to ensure data integrity Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information. Assist with the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related issues. Assist with the coordination of training sessions and workshops. Requirements of Human Resources Coordinator:

Previous payroll and benefits experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Strong knowledge of HR functions, policies, and procedures. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
