BCG Attorney Search Experience 2-8 yrs required Location Washington, DC, United States Posted on May 02, 2025 Profile Job Overview: A law firm specializing in public interest class action litigation is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join its Washington, D.C. office. The firm’s practice focuses on class actions in data privacy, products liability, consumer protection, and wage theft. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of litigation experience and a passion for public interest work. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic and growing practice. Location: Washington, D.C. Duties: Investigate potential class action cases Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal documents Meet and confer with opposing counsel Take and defend depositions Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations Attend hearings and court appearances Communicate regularly with clients Provide support on various tasks as assigned by senior attorneys Requirements: 5 years of litigation experience Prior experience in class action litigation, particularly on the plaintiff side, is preferred Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Ability to effectively solve problems in deadline-driven environments Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and in a team Passion for public interest law and class action litigation Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Active membership in good standing with a state bar (preferably D.C. or a reciprocal jurisdiction) Skills: Expertise in litigation, particularly class action cases Strong legal research and writing abilities Excellent oral communication and negotiation skills Experience with discovery management and deposition procedures Ability to handle complex cases and work under tight deadlines Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Health and wellness benefits Generous paid time off Collaborative and supportive work environment Company info BCG Attorney Search 1629 K ST NW, Suite 300 Washington District of Columbia United States 20006 Phone :
