Benefits Page . Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience. Six months cashier experience, especially at Customer Service Desk. Minimum age: 18 in most states, 19 in Idaho and Alaska if selling tobacco. Ability to pass a drug test. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, any shift, and overtime. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of company policies and procedures. Related retail experience. Key responsibilities include: Delivering excellent customer service and encouraging others to do the same. Performing cashier duties: opening/closing registers, ringing sales, handling transactions, bagging, and making cash drops. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of checkstand area. Answering phones and handling customer inquiries. Verifying and deactivating Electronic Article Surveillance tags. Maintaining store accounting functions and preparing bank deposits. Processing refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill payments, gift cards, and rentals at the Customer Service Desk. Providing lottery services (excluding Alaska) and issuing licenses. Managing conflicts calmly and acting with integrity and honesty. Supporting minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors as needed. This job posting is active and accepting applications.
