This is a 5-day in-office role based in our Boston office in the Financial District.
Responsibilities of the Operations Manager include:
Providing office and compliance management support to the Boston office, including brokerage, HR, local management, administrative tasks, and event planning.
Prioritizing and monitoring workflow, resolving issues, and escalating to corporate when necessary.
Hiring, training, developing, and managing staff.
Providing a high level of service to brokers.
Managing onboarding and ongoing experiences for all personnel, including employees and brokers.
Assisting sales management with reports, sales contests, and projects.
Implementing intra-office and inter-office communication strategies.
Coordinating facilities and logistics, including moves, remodels, and interfacing with property management.
Planning and coordinating office events throughout the year.
Collaborating with offices and departments across the division and firmwide.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent soft skills: collaborative, proactive, approachable, with leadership qualities.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
Quick learner with enthusiasm for technology.
Attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and leadership by example.
Role Requirements:
At least 3 years of office and staff management experience.
Knowledge of compliance and HR functions.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Experience supervising staff.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
Budgeting and cost-efficient decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in real estate brokerage, legal, finance, or property management.
Experience in event planning.
Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional education.
