Job Description KIOXIA America Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Ecosystem Project Specialist to develop and grow our SSD business in the SSD ecosystem development segment. This individual directly reports to the Director of SSD Ecosystem Development and requires a unique blend of strategic negotiation, technical, and marketing skills. Not only will you coordinate internally with many cross-functional teams to reach critical business decisions on ecosystem and technical support strategy, but you will work with world-class ecosystem leaders directly in the industry. The ecosystem scope includes hardware companies such as CPUs, PCIe related peripherals, etc. and software companies such as Operating Systems, Storage Drivers, Virtualization Software, Software-Defined Storage (SDS) and so on.
Our ideal candidate will leverage their technical background todrive and manage ecosystem strategy at both a tactical and strategic level while working closely with customers, sales, product managers, technical marketing, business ops, and other cross-functional teams. This is a complex job that requires exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking capabilities, and the ability to follow through on initiatives with many internal teams, from the roadmap alignment, SSD sample planning, SSD validations, and to plan/execute joint marketing activities. This position provides an excellent opportunity to participate in growing the SSD ecosystem industry including NVMe, SDS, and other new emerging markets such as AI/ML, block-chain and autonomous driving.
Become a key PoC for ecosystems responsible for fostering new partnerships and maintaining current ones with the world's leading technology companies
Collaborate with partners and internal teams to enhance and maintain our ecosystem strategy by:
Driving key ecosystem activities at industry and customer shows Keeping KIOXIA in sync with partners by managing product roadmap exchanges Maintaining sampling plans to ensure SSD AVL/Interop compatibility Effectively working with key KIOXIA global and local stakeholders including product planning, sales, and technical support Becoming situationally fluent to support technical or commercial areas between KIOXIA and our ecosystem partners
Qualifications
5+years of experience with a Bachelor's, or 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree, in managing cross-functional technical programs, account management in high-tech industry. Proven expertise in driving cross-functional programs required, involving hardware, firmware, and system level integration preferred. Experience in building and managing relationships with ecosystem partners (OEM's, hyperscalers), aligning technical roadmaps and joint enablement strategies. Proficient in excel for data analysis, building models, dashboards, benchmarking to evaluate ecosystem technologies, identify optimization, KPI's, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with ecosystem partner requirements and engagements. Strong command of business-level written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly, adapt messaging to varied audiences, and influence stakeholders effectively. Proven experience in project management methodologies, best practices, and the ability to lead complex cross-functional initiates to successful completion. Understanding of enterprise/data center/client system architectures preferred. Understanding of SSD and flash memory technologies preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate preferred. Understanding of roadmaps and able to provide thorough technical analysis of ecosystem partners' data Understanding of PCIe interop testing preferred Understanding of Re-timer and SoC/Flash controller technologies preferred Additional Information
