Rack and stack all equipment across three data centers (Network Gear, Servers, Storage, Cabinets). Include cabling and power from cabinets to components. Coordinate power whip needs with the DCE Team. Abide by client and SWA change control parameters. Change windows are typically from 1 am to 4 am; changes must be pre-approved in the Customer Service Management Tool. Coordinate with third-party vendors. Work with vendors on drive replacements, etc. Deal with hardware alerts. Physically handle tape media, including removing tapes from tape libraries and inserting tapes into the libraries. Prepare tapes for movement to the offsite vault and perform handoffs with the offsite vault vendor. Ensure all activities comply with client audit standards for data centers and tape media. Resources will be required to work in shifts, including night shifts, and be available for on-call support.
