This position offers hands-on experience with high-stakes bid protests, False Claims Act investigations, and compliance counseling. The District of Columbia legal practice concentrates on business, litigation, and regulatory law issues in the federal government as well as the public sector. A team of well-established attorneys are employed at law office. Several DC attorneys are highly-skilled in government law matters. There are ten areas of practice. Antitrust, business transactions, corporate-securities law, energy, environmental, and government procurement-sanctions are a number of their practice disciplines. ________________________________________ This Washington, DC legal job is ideal for an attorney with at least 2 years of experience handling federal procurement issues who wants to work in a supportive team focused on government-facing litigation and advisory matters. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Represent clients in bid protests before federal agencies and the GAO • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and cybersecurity requirements • Conduct internal investigations and defend clients in False Claims Act matters • Provide legal support in due diligence for M&A transactions involving government contractors • Draft and review contracts, pleadings, motions, and memoranda ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in government contracts or procurement law • Prior experience in a law firm or relevant federal agency preferred • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school • Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • Coursework or demonstrated focus on government contracts law is a plus ________________________________________ Skills & Attributes: • Strong analytical and legal research skills • Excellent writing, advocacy, and oral communication abilities • Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously • Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage directly with clients ________________________________________ Culture & Firm Appeal: This top-tier law firm is known for its robust government-facing practice, collegial environment, and commitment to attorney development.
