You’ll counsel major providers on reimbursement strategies, fraud-and-abuse compliance, and transactional structuring—propelling your career in a dynamic Washington, DC practice. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Advise health care entities on billing, reimbursement, and claims submission under Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/Tricare • Structure business arrangements to ensure compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and related regulations • Guide clients through enrollment, audit defense, and risk-mitigation strategies • Draft and negotiate transactional documents—including provider agreements and compliance policies • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on investigations, internal reviews, and regulatory responses ________________________________________ Qualifications • 10+ years of health care reimbursement experience, including Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/Tricare billing • Deep knowledge of federal fraud-and-abuse laws (Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law) • JD from an ABA-approved law school; bar admission in South Carolina (or eligibility) • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Proven ability to partner with clients and deliver strategic, business-focused advice ________________________________________ Work in a collegial, innovation-driven environment that values professional growth, diversity, and pro bono engagement.
