Description

market. The starting rate for this executive position is expected to be
\$200k-\$250k. Our strong benefits offerings include eligibility to

**JOB SUMMARY**
The VP of Contracts will serve as the senior authority on all
contractual matters, overseeing the full lifecycle of U.S. Government,
commercial, and international agreementsfrom proposal development and
negotiations to execution, compliance, and closeout.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
Serve as the senior-most authority on all contractual and pricing
matters across the company.
Actively contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the
company as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Develop and implement scalable contract management strategies
aligned with business objectives, compliance standards, and customer
expectations.
Lead and manage all functions of the Contracts and Pricing teams,
including proposal development, negotiation, execution, change
management, and contract closeout.
Oversee pricing models, cost strategies, and compliance with
internal and external financial frameworks.
Ensure accurate and timely integration of contracts and pricing data
into business systems such as D365, Power BI, and internal pricing
platforms.
Serve as the lead negotiator for key customer contracts, including
high-value DoD programs, commercial agreements, and complex
subcontracting arrangements.
Interpret, draft, and negotiate terms and conditions that balance
Customer Requirements With Company Risk And Performance Objectives.
Ensure the companys contractual obligations are clearly
communicated, tracked, and fulfilled across internal teams.
Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, FAA,
DOT, and other applicable regulations.
Maintain robust oversight of export controls and serve as a key
point of contact for external audits, DCMA reviews, and government
oversight agencies.
Oversee contract records management, NDAs, teaming agreements, and
proprietary information protection to ensure contractual integrity
and audit readiness.
Partner with all other business functions to align contractual
execution with corporate priorities.
Support customer engagements and capture efforts, ensuring the
company\'s contracting strategies are responsive, competitive, and
risk-aware.
Interface regularly with internal stakeholders, external customers,
prime contractors, and government entities to build strong,
trust-based relationships.

Requirements
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY**
Provides direct supervision to a variety of high level exempt employees.
**EDUCATION**
Bachelors degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field
required; Masters degree or JD preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive contracts experience in U.S.
Government contracting with significant DoD program exposure.
At least 5 years of leadership experience managing contracts teams
in a defense, aerospace, or government contractor environment.
Experience with commercial contracts and subcontracting in complex,
regulated industries.
**EXPERIENCE**
Minimum of 15 ye rs of progressive contracts experience in U.S.
Government contracting with significant DoD program exposure.
At least 5 years of leadership experience managing contracts teams
in a defense, aerospace, or government contractor environment.
Experience with commercial contracts and subcontracting in complex,
regulated industries.
**SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS**
Deep knowledge of U.S. Government procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS),
export controls (ITAR, EAR), and international contracting frameworks.
Expertise in cost/pricing strategies, contract law, risk management, and
negotiation tactics.
Familiarity with DCMA processes and oversight practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skillscomfortable
operating at both strategic and tactical levels.
Demonstrated ability to modernize and scale contract processes to
support enterprise growth.
Demonstrated financial, risk and resource management skills
