Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Capture Manager 3. The successful candidate will have a chance to lead some of the most exciting new capture opportunities in the areas of human and scientific exploration, space mobility and logistics, space security, national security, and advanced telecommunications. This individual will work closely with Northrop Grumman’s leadership team and other industry and government partners to run all aspects of his/her assigned pursuits. Specific areas of focus include market research and data analytics, customer relationship management and shaping, capture strategy development and execution, and proposal development, submission, and negotiations through contract award. In this job, you will: Understand and engage within the customer marketplace and stakeholder organizations to identify market drivers and trends and develop strategies.

Develop capture strategy and tactics to produce capture products such as competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and prices-to-win analysis results.

Develop clear Win Themes and Value Propositions for the capture.

Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and functional organizations involved in program pursuit.

Develop relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to help drive partnerships.

Coordinate and collaborate with line of business management, strategy, business and finance, contracts and global supply chain, technology, and engineering offices.

Manage investment capture project funds, schedule, and execution.

Oversee proposal development including managing processes, writing proposal responses, and developing pricing for compelling proposals.

Secure RFPs, prepare proposals, negotiate and definitize contracts.

Meet all security, organizational conflict of interest, export control, and risk management processes.

Exhibit exceptional leadership and teambuilding skills.

Communicate effectively with customers, program management, and executives.

Willing and able to travel as required (up to 50%).

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.

10+ years of experience with program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development.

Knowledge and experience in civil and commercial space, space security, or national security.

Proven ability to lead a high performing team and create an inclusive work environment.

Knowledge of customer acquisition processes.

Active TS/SAP clearance at the time of application.

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree in STEM or Business discipline.

Self-directed leader with exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Active SCI and/or SAP clearance.

Experience interfacing with senior management and peers.

Aptitude to develop and execute strategy.

Knowledge of multiple mission areas within: Civilian Space, Space Security, MilSatCom, ISR, Space Domain Awareness, or Geospatial Intelligence.

Knowledge of acquisition processes and Customer organizations (NASA, USSF, USAF, SDA, AFRL, IC).

Experience with earned value management of complex projects.

Subcontract Management experience.

Salary Range:
