SUMMARY We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst Contractor that will have responsibility for eliciting business needs, specifying user stories/use cases, modeling processes, evaluating system impacts, performing detailed analysis, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of new system capabilities, enhancements, and fixes in support of various CLIENT applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Responsible for analysis and documentation of business needs and systems impacts to ensure the successful delivery of various CLIENT applications. - Responsible for completing assignments with the ability to work on 1-3 projects. - Understanding the business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike. - Responsible for documenting business requirements, user stories/acceptance criteria, use cases, workflow diagrams, etc. - Work with the business users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance. - Collaborate with project team and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology, including: eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews. - Modeling experience (e.g., process flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, mock-ups/wireframes). - Knowledge of Information Security Awareness. - Understanding of web applications. - Experience in Jira is a plus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related majors. - 10+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing. - 8+ years' experience in systems analysis and design with a proven record of successful large scale project implementations. - Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus. - Product Owner or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have: - Bachelor's Degree - Business Analysis - Pure BA; understands/asks the 'Why and What'
