Infotrend is seeking a Business Development Executive (BDE) to enhance our relationships and brand in the Federal Civilian Law Enforcement market. The right candidate has a proven track record of building a pipeline of contract opportunities aligned with high-end technology consulting services. The BDE’s accounts will include Law Enforcement agencies within the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security. The BDE demonstrates a deep understanding of the specific missions and environmental intricacies of Law Enforcement Agencies that make up the account. The BDE builds credibility with executives, program managers, and procurement executives as a trusted advisor and partner in solving mission challenges. The right candidate is able to identify key stakeholders, establish trust, and support the mission. They should have a strong understanding of Infotrend's core capabilities: Modern Software Development, Legal Solutions, Data Science & Analytics, and AI/ML. The BDE leads planning, monitoring, and executing project activities, overseeing capture efforts within the account, and coordinating proposal teams and partners. Responsibilities include: Identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities focused on Law Enforcement. Articulating Infotrend’s services and solutions, providing past performance examples to stakeholders. Initiating sales by building relationships, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling meetings with decision makers. Preparing and delivering proposals, gate reviews, and customer briefings, including pricing strategies. Monitoring government procurement sites for potential opportunities. Participating in the development of white papers, RFI responses, and market research meetings. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Understanding market landscapes, customer trends, and competitive trends. Defining and implementing customer growth strategies. Researching cost/price data and sharing insights with the Pricing team. Analyzing RFPs and providing strategic recommendations. Developing and executing strategic sales plans. Achieving sales targets and expanding customer base. Developing marketing and capture plans for emerging opportunities. Supporting proposal development and developing workshare strategies. Traveling as required to contract sites and partner offices. Job Requirements: 5+ years of responsible business development and sales experience in government consulting, specifically in Federal Law Enforcement. Experience with contract vehicles like IDIQs and BPAs, and a successful track record in competitive bids. Established networks in the GovCon community and ability to develop new relationships. Knowledge of marketing and sales best practices within the industry. Strong research, analysis, and presentation skills. Understanding of federal acquisition timelines and structured BD/Capture methodologies. High energy, goal-oriented, and able to coordinate multiple initiatives. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of government contracting and FAR/DFARS regulations. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Experience with Legal Solutions, Modern Software Development, and Data Science is a plus.
