Job Summary: CLJ Consulting and Contracting LLC is seeking a detail-oriented

Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist

to develop and manage process documentation, training materials, and user manuals for pension benefit systems at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). This position plays a key role in capturing and communicating technical procedures to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation, including user manuals, templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and FAQs. • Collaborate with technical staff to translate complex processes into easy-to-understand content. • Organize and publish documentation using SharePoint and other approved PBGC tools. • Ensure all materials comply with formatting, branding, and quality standards. • Maintain version control and update documents in response to system changes or enhancements. • Support training initiatives by creating visual aids and step-by-step instructions for users. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field. • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical writing and documentation development. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint. • Strong grammar, editing, and layout skills with the ability to simplify complex information. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass all required background checks. Qualifications: • Experience supporting documentation for government systems or pension benefit programs. • Familiarity with Agile documentation techniques and knowledge management principles. Additional Information: • Core working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. • After-hours work may be required on occasion with prior notice.
