NAEYC is seeking a full-time
Manager of Partnerships and Program Success
to join our Early Learning Program team. This role is key in building and maintaining relationships with organizations supporting multiple Early Learning programs involved in NAEYC's Quality Assessment and Accreditation process. The Manager will lead efforts to develop strategic partnerships, support training and technical assistance (T/TA) organizations, and improve the success and sustainability of programs pursuing accreditation. The position involves partner engagement, capacity building, data-driven program improvement, and cross-team coordination. Responsibilities
Cultivate and manage relationships with organizations supporting multiple Early Learning programs. Engage with key stakeholders such as state agencies, provider networks, and advocacy groups. Serve as the primary liaison to strategic partners and promote alignment with accreditation goals. Build relationships with T/TA providers offering coaching and support. Enhance provider effectiveness through strategy development, convenings, and resources. Lead initiatives promoting best practices in training and support delivery. Monitor accreditation progress to identify trends and inform improvements. Use data and feedback to refine engagement strategies and strengthen outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality support for partners. Represent NAEYC at conferences, stakeholder meetings, and events. Deliver presentations and develop reports on successes and outcomes. Facilitate communities of practice and learning networks. Work cross-functionally with teams across NAEYC, including Policy, Research, Professional Development, and Market Solutions. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, accreditation, partnerships, or technical assistance. Familiarity with organizations supporting multiple Early Learning sites, state agencies, or accreditation systems. Strong understanding of early childhood quality systems and accreditation processes. Experience with technical assistance and training models. Skilled in data use for program evaluation and improvement. Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster collaboration across diverse teams. Physical Demands This position requires walking, moving throughout the building, handling materials and objects, and effective communication through writing, speaking, and listening. Reasonable accommodations will be considered to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Position Details This is a hybrid role with required travel of 10-20%. The position is based in the DC Metro Region, with the expectation to be on-site in the DC office one day a week, typically Wednesdays, unless otherwise directed.
