Liberty Classical Schools . 2025-2026 Northwest Classical Academy (NCA) seeks a full-time Upper School Principal. NCA will serve students in grades K-11 in 2025-2026 and will add 12th grade in 2026-2027. The Upper School Principal is responsible for academic performance, culture, and discipline in grades 7-12. The Principal reports to the Head of School and is supported by a Dean of Academics and a Dean of Students. Description:

2025-2026 Responsibilities include: Leading students and teachers in pursuit of the school's mission to form knowledgeable, virtuous citizens, including hiring, developing, and inspiring faculty. Setting and enforcing standards for homework, grading, communication, discipline, and culture. Organizing faculty meetings and training, supporting professional development. Overseeing daily operations of the Upper School, including schedules and academic calendars. Collaborating with the Head of School on strategic initiatives. Communicating proactively with parents. Ensuring compliance with academic benchmarks and legal requirements. Fostering teamwork with other leadership, especially the Lower School Principal. Engaging with various stakeholders including staff, families, and the community. Managing major activities like trips, student council, awards, and graduation. Overseeing an academic plan emphasizing the Western tradition, classical curriculum, and moral virtues. Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have experience in classical education, teacher coaching, personnel management, understanding of state accountability laws, and a graduate degree in a related field. Personal Characteristics:
Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for classical education, integrity, organizational skills, leadership qualities, intellectual curiosity, effective communication, energy, and virtues such as courage, honesty, and humility.
