Operations Project Manager
to join our team in
Santa Clara, CA . Responsibilities: Manage overall profitable capacity, including productivity, supply chain, lead-time, cost reduction, and quality assurance through effective strategies and practices. Identify potential problems and points of friction, and develop solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue. Drive continuous improvement to align and optimize financial and operational objectives against customer and market expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product management, finance, purchasing, marketing, sales, and customers. Partner with site leaders and program managers to meet customer requirements regarding schedules, ramp-up, and scaling. Lead quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, ensuring high standards. Manage customer audits, ensuring compliance with documentation and processes. Coordinate geo- and product transfer projects to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity globally. Travel across the US, Mexico, China, and India (up to 50%) to work with manufacturing locations, suppliers, and customers. Qualifications: BSc or equivalent in Operations Management or related technical discipline. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, capacity planning, supply chain, and cost control, preferably in the interconnect industry. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement tools like Six Sigma and Lean. Strong project management, creativity, adaptability, and multi-tasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers. Financial and analytical skills, including data analysis, understanding costing and cost/benefit analysis. Willingness to travel frequently, with fluency in Mandarin being an asset.
