Shields Point, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has a dynamic opportunity for a
Project Manager (PM)
in support of the Department of Transportation Armed Security Contract in the Washington, D.C. area. The PM has full authority to act on all contract matters to ensure compliance, technical, cost, and schedule performance. This role requires a leader with demonstrated law enforcement or security experience in managing multiple government building locations and leading a team of professional armed security officers providing physical security, emergency preparedness and response, and is adept at interacting with government personnel and ensuring compliance with various regulations and standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Manage all personnel on the project, including supervision, inspections, and evaluations, ensuring quality control and compliance.
Oversee staffing, training, duties, and quality control for 24/7 security operations across multiple government facilities, ensuring FPS A-9 standards compliance.
Serve as the primary government point of contact with full authority to act on behalf of the contractor.
Coordinate work schedules, staffing, medical exams, fitness and drug testing, and training.
Submit regular deliverables to the government and maintain detailed records.
Be available within 30 minutes for communication and respond to emergencies within specified timeframes.
Provide all contract deliverables, track expenditures, and attend meetings as required.
Assess and evaluate contract performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Monitor employees’ licenses, training, and certifications.
Manage armed security weapons procedures and storage on federal property.
Demonstrate ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and ensure compliance with federal audits and reporting standards.
Maintain responsive, customer-focused communication internally and externally.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
U.S. Citizen with an active Public Trust Tier 2 Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or substantial law enforcement, military, or business management experience managing armed security forces.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in law enforcement or security, including project development and budget control.
Experience managing large security teams (50+ officers) and contracts with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts.
Provide three professional references demonstrating experience managing large-scale security operations.
Expected Pay Range: $98,754 to $148,131 per year
