The Opportunity
The
Director of Supply Chain
is responsible for overseeing the performance, cohesion, and continuous improvement of Marketlab’s supply chain, including demand planning, procurement, sourcing, inventory management, and supplier performance. This strategic yet hands-on leadership role involves coaching a team, managing key vendor relationships, and implementing scalable processes to support growth.
The role entails building and maintaining supply chain practices that ensure product availability, cost-efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business priorities. It focuses on both current performance and future readiness.
Operational Leadership
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead all aspects of supply chain execution, including supply planning, procurement, sourcing, demand planning, inventory strategy, and supplier management.
Develop and implement supply and demand planning practices in collaboration with the Commercial team.
Ensure supply chain resilience through vendor diversification and risk management.
Track KPIs related to supplier performance, delivery, costs, and forecasting accuracy.
Evaluate supply chain aspects of potential acquisitions, including integration timelines.
Supplier Strategy & Sourcing
Manage supplier relationships, including contracts, onboarding, and performance.
Drive supplier rationalization and sourcing strategies aligned with cost, risk, and quality goals.
Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to meet compliance and traceability standards.
Partner with Product and Commercial teams for sourcing strategies on new products and growth initiatives.
Process & System Improvement
Promote data-driven decision-making and process enhancements.
Identify system gaps and lead ERP optimization efforts.
Team Development & Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Ensure accountability and professional growth within the team.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
Proven success in sourcing, planning, and inventory management.
Proficiency in ERP systems and analytics tools; NetSuite experience is a plus.
Experience in regulated environments or healthcare products is preferred.
Experience with M&A supply chain due diligence and integration is a plus.
