3.1 Position Summary The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is a member of the Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for managing multiple complex IT projects based on PMI PMBOK framework. The role involves client engagement, resource management, deliverable assurance, and project reporting. Depending on project complexity and client location, site visits may be required. Responsibilities
Manage client interactions and project expectations. Oversee site readiness, installation, testing, and commissioning. Develop project plans, manage communication, tasks, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners. Manage project documentation, scope, and risk mitigation. Ensure project milestones and deliverables meet standards. Handle project billing and resource utilization. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions. Seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and project processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Conduct project closeout and gather client feedback. Travel and Physical Demands Up to 25% travel may be required. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, handling objects, and lifting up to 35 pounds. Work Environment Primarily office-based with site visits, in a fast-paced environment. May require evening or weekend work. Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 10 years relevant experience. 6-8 years leading complex enterprise projects. Knowledge of project management practices, PMP certification preferred. Preferred Skills: IT infrastructure deployment experience. PMP with Agile or ITIL certifications. Additional Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams. Additional Information Senior level, full-time position in Project Management and IT.
