LHD Benefit Advisors Description LHD Benefit Advisors is hiring a Director of Health Analytics & Strategy to lead the design and execution of integrated population health strategies that improve employee health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs for employers. This role is responsible for aligning population health initiatives with healthcare analytics to deliver measurable impact across our client base. In addition to strategic oversight, the Director plays a key role in business growth. This is a high-visibility role for a data-informed strategist with deep knowledge of employer health plans, population risk, and health improvement interventions. Why LHD? Responsibilities Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Population Health service line, including oversight of team workflows, service models, and internal processes to improve efficiency, client impact, and alignment with organizational priorities. Analyze medical and pharmacy claims, financial cost data, and wellness trends to identify key drivers of utilization, risk, and spending across client populations. Partner with vendors and internal teams to design and evaluate integrated population health strategies, using outcome data to refine approaches and demonstrate measurable impact to clients and leadership. Oversee the production, standardization, and continuous improvement of financial and health strategy reports, ensuring insights are tailored to client objectives. Collaborate with Advisors to integrate population health insights into client strategies. Lead client meetings to present findings and guide employers in data-driven decision-making. Support sales by contributing to RFP responses, presenting capabilities, and shaping proposals. Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing and prospective clients to expand the service line. Provide strategic leadership for the teams, supporting talent development and high-quality deliverables. Refine pricing models with leadership to ensure profitability and alignment with firm goals. Enhance the firm’s market position through published insights, speaking engagements, and industry representation. Requirements Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Analytics, or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 10 years of experience in population health strategy, health data analytics, or related fields. Experience providing strategic direction and cross-functional alignment. Proven success in client-facing advisory roles. Experience in or with the employee benefits industry preferred. Leadership experience with direct reports required. Ability to translate health data into business strategies. Knowledge of pricing, revenue, and financial targets. Proficiency in interpreting claims and engagement data. Strong skills in BI tools (e.g., Power BI), Excel, and healthcare data systems. Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences. Thought leadership experience preferred.
