Get Logistics, a leading national drayage broker for BCOs and freight forwarders, is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the position of Senior Drayage Operations Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients and carriers, ensuring the smooth movement of shipments throughout the supply chain.

As a US Drayage Specialist, you will oversee daily operations of drayage clients’ needs, ensuring efficient container movements and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage scheduling, dispatch, and tracking of drayage shipments from ports to warehouses, rail ramps, and final destinations.
Monitor and analyze dispatch operations to optimize routes and resource allocation.
Develop and maintain relationships with drivers, carriers, and port officials to ensure smooth operations.
Implement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Resolve shipment issues such as delays, damages, and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Lead, train, and support dispatch team members, fostering a positive work environment.
Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in drayage and logistics management.
Manage client accounts and serve as the main contact for shipment-related matters.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term satisfaction.
Negotiate costs and value propositions to maximize profits.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Experience with import/export drayage and working at a steamship line, drayage carrier, or freight forwarder is preferred.
Ability to support remote work arrangements.
