Business Development Director - Laptops/Servers - Austin, TX What’s in It for You? As Business Development Director, you'll drive the adoption of cutting-edge, PFAS-free protective coating technologies, partnering with some of the biggest names in tech. Our Client is fresh off a successful Series C funding round and poised for accelerated growth. You’ll be trusted with strategic autonomy to shape high-value customer relationships, and rewarded with a competitive compensation package and uncapped earnings potential for high performers. What You’ll Do Lead business development initiatives focused on the global laptop, notebook, and enterprise server ecosystem—targeting OEMs, ODMs, and Tier 1 suppliers. Develop and manage strategic relationships with decision-makers across engineering, procurement, and sustainability teams at major hardware brands and manufacturers. Advocate for PFAS-free, high-performance protective coatings that improve device reliability, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal engineering, product development, and technical applications teams to drive customer adoption from pilot testing to commercial rollout. Act as the voice of the customer, translating market and technical insight into strategic actions that shape growth trajectory. Why This Role Matters You will be on the frontlines of sustainability and materials innovation—delivering next-gen protection for consumer and enterprise electronics in a time of rising regulation and ESG expectations. Your efforts will directly impact revenue growth, product adoption, and market leadership in the PFAS-free space. As a visible technical-commercial bridge, you’ll help redefine how electronics manufacturers think about durability, compliance, and long-term performance. What You Bring 10+ years of business development or strategic sales experience in the laptop, notebook, server, or consumer electronics sectors. Deep understanding of OEM/ODM partnerships, electronics manufacturing processes, and component qualification cycles. Technical fluency and the ability to guide engineering-driven sales discussions. Proven success in building and scaling strategic relationships with global hardware brands. Experience or familiarity with protective coatings, materials, or PCB-level innovations is a strong plus. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Materials Science or related; MBA a plus. Seniority level
