We are excited to present a challenging career opportunity for an accomplished and energetic professional to join our team as a Transportation Business Development Leader for Kleinfelder’s Texas and Oklahoma area to help shape Kleinfelder’s future in this growing infrastructure market.
Thisexperienced professional will foster relationships with top transportation clients and teaming partners, work closely withourlocal operationsin Texas and Oklahoma, and will be instrumental in the development of client-centric delivery teams that will position us for extraordinary growth into the future.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be able to:
Shape the growth strategy for Kleinfelder’s Texas and Oklahoma Area Transportation services. Drive sales from a select group of targeted clients in the transportation, aviation, and infrastructure market. Understand the clients’ business needs and develop innovativevalue-added solutions andcost-effectiverecommendations toexceed the clients’ needs. Coordinate project delivery and proposal teams with clear and succinct communication as to the client requirements and differentiation strategies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and teaming partners in providing engineering, construction, andprofessional consulting servicesin a trusted advisory role. Proactively network with clients, teaming partners and industry partnersto understand the market trends, needs and future opportunitiesthat creates a Return on the Investment. Work in a matrixed work environment, interacting with business development and operations teams, and maintaining close communications with the client to represent their needs effectively. The Texas/OK Area Business Development Leader will focus on advancing relationships with targeted transportation clients in surface transportation, aviation,ports/harbors, and transit areas of the project life-cycle with Kleinfelder’s comprehensive suite of services inthe transportation design, bridge engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, materials testing, quality assurance, construction management, and/or similar professional consulting services.
Experience & Academic Requirements
Preferably a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related technical field. Minimum8-12 years of proven progressive experience in transportationinfrastructureprojects (highways, bridges, rail/transit, aviation, and ports/harbors). 10 years of direct interaction with Texas/OK project stakeholders (DOT’s, municipalities, transportation engineering firms, design/build contractors, etc.). 6-7 years of management experiencedesired.

Must have a 'get it done' attitude and be proactive. Strong organizational and time management skills. Quality and client service oriented. POSITION CONDITIONS
Job is performed in an office or remote environment. Occasional travel will be required.
