Description Our Electrical Assistant Project Manager assists their Project Manager on projects and acts as the liaison between the field and the office. They are responsible for defining the project's objectives by planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to the schedule while keeping within the budget.

Support the senior project management team. Develop project teams, ensuring quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing scope, and delivering on time and within budget. Support project management techniques, schedule goals, procurement, contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning. Evaluate and improve systems and processes to meet customer requirements and profitability goals, emphasizing strong internal tracking methods. Ensure schedule requirements are met, adjusting priorities based on changing needs and resources. Interact with customers to validate expectations before, during, and after project completion. Oversee third-party construction firms and subcontractors. Manage project review processes with a focus on financial forecasting. Ensure high-quality engineering, studies, and project delivery. Communicate challenges, risks, and successes proactively. Oversee monthly invoicing and negotiate change orders. Coordinate with Site Superintendents on installation methods, labor needs, and manpower forecasts. Support adherence to the Quality Control process. Ensure downstream team members meet deadlines for their tasks. QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 years of Project Engineer experience in electrical construction. Understanding of electrical engineering principles. Field experience coordinating with construction management. Knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts. Ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects. Ability to manage a profitable portfolio. BSEE or Construction Management degree preferred. Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is a plus.
